Webinar: "Digital Transformation: How to future-proof careers and businesses in the Philippines" by Peter Ramolete (MBA)

This May 30, 1:30 PM, Peter Ramolete (MBA), the Site Director of DXC Technology Philippines, will be delivering a webinar/talk titled " Digital Transformation: How to future-proof careers and businesses in the Philippines". The talk is primarily for the students of the elective course CS 173 (Digital, IT, Elements for Transformation) handled by Adjunct Professor Pablo Leonrado Yambot, but is also open to the general public. The abstract of the talk is as follows -

According to Google Philippines, digital transformation is estimated to create up to Php 5 trillion in annual economic value for the country. Nevertheless, consumers and small to large enterprises face significant challenges before this value can be realized.

In this webinar, Mr. Ramolete, an IT industry-leading consultant and leader will talk about the unique challenges and opportunities that await the next generation of Filipino talent in the digital transformation of the Philippines and our impact to the global IT industry.

Peter is a graduate of the U.P. Diliman Department of Computer Science (B. C.S., 1995, cum laude) and has an MBA from the Ateneo Professional Schools (2000, Class Valedictorian, 4.0 GWA). He has worked in several top IT consulting and tech firms: Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), IBM, and HP. He is currently the Site Director for DXC Technology Philippines.
