IoT Cup 2024

This year’s IoT Cup, which has the theme “IoT Cup 2024 - Finding Innovations in Smart Home Technologies” was held last June 1. The annual event, which is also the capstone project of CS 145 (Computer Networks), has Enstack as its sponsor this year. Assoc. Prof. Wilson Tan, Enstack representative Paolo Samontanez, and Joshua Arvin Lat served as the external judges this year. 16 teams competed in this year’s iteration of the event.

The event featured a variety of special awards. The special awards and their winners are as follows –

• People's Choice Award: 0x0: b0x0 Labs [BerdeBox]
• Most Polished Prototype: 0xB - 0xBattalion [Litterboxd]
• Best Exhibit: 0xA - PotDogs [SuperPot]

The grand prize winners are the following –

• 3rd place: 0x0 - b0x0 Labs [BerdeBox]
• 2nd place: 0xB - 0xBattalion [Litterboxd]
• Champion: 0x6 - PillHealth [PillHealth]

This year’s CS 145 was handled by Jerome Beltran and rookie instructor Kevin Atienza.
