DCS hosts SIGCOMM pod for Manila, Philippines

Last August 8, the DCS hosted the SIGCOMM pod for Manila, Philippines. ACM SIGCOMM is the flagship annual conference of the ACM Special Interest Group on Data Communication (SIGCOMM), and was held this year in Sydney, Australia (August 4 - 8). The SIGCOMM pods enabled remote participation in the event by Southeast Asian researchers in the networking field. Pods featured live streamed keynote speeches, recorded paper presentations, as well as live Q&A with select paper authors.

Universities in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia also simultaneously held pods during that day. The Manila pod was attended by faculty members, students, and research personnel from UPD and DLSU.
