Systems Modeling and Simulation (SMSL)

The Systems Modeling and Simulation Laboratory (SMSL) is active in modeling disasters and ecological systems. Graduate students do agent-based modeling of a hydrogen battery driven only by visible light, protein-folding, and modeling of storm surge and landslides.

Active Research Areas:

  • Modeling of Physical Phenomena
  • Computational Simulation and Characterization
